Worldwide Soaring Turnpoint Exchange Maps
This link should present you with maps of the area covered by the control points
for this site, with the control points indicated. For large waypoint
collections, the density of points may render the view a bit of a mess,
but it should give you a rough idea of the area covered, and confirms that
there are no distant outliers.

- Double left click on a location to move it to the center of the viewing area

that allows you to view the area around
a contol point, from different
elevations and perspectives, but requires a fairly hefty PC and good internet
connectivity. Try turning on the following "layers" in the menu on the lower left-hand side of the display:
place populated places, airports/transportation, and roads.
