Garmin® PCX5AVD 2.05, 2.07, 2.08 and 2.09 Formats

Comments

The data are formatted with the turnpoint number as the ID, and a four- or six-character ID for non-turnpoint waypoints. The 2.05 and 2.07 formats differ only in the number of decimals in the latitude and longitude. The 2.08 data are formatted with a four letter name as the ID, to be compatible with the 55AVD. The 2.09 format is identical to 2.08, with just the version number being different.
Version 2.05 works with the FlexGPS software package, thanks to Herman Sanders for leading us to this discovery.
