The OSTIV Prize
The Organization Scientifique et Technique Internationale du Vol
à Voile ( OSTIV ) Plaque/Klemperer Award is presented
at each OSTIV congress to a person deemed to have made a noteworthy
technical or scientific contribution to soaring flight. The
Klemperer Award is a cash stipend derived from the interest earned by
the Wolfgang B. Klemperer Memorial Fund, and was first awarded in
1958. The Fund is a trust fund administered by the SSA
Trustees.
