ASSelect Change History - changes effective up to 20th July 2017
        ASSelect is a Program to Extract a User Specified UK Airspace File from a
        master file.  It is published on the Worldwide Soaring Turnpoint Exchange.
        The program and master airspace files were created courtesy of Geoff Brown.

    * Cotswold CTA. Add new CTA regions and delete the existing airways
      absorbed by it: L9-2, L9-3, N14-1, N14-2, N14-3, P2, N864-2, N864-3,
      N864-4 and N864-5
    * RILES LoA. Now partly in  the Cotswold CTA, so split RAGLAN and
      MADLEY boxes into separate LoAs
    * Portsmouth CTA-5. Raise base to FL55
    * SPADEADAM and TRAG-A. Minor coordinate corrections
    * P18/M150/Y99. Minor coordinate corrections to match surrounding CTA
    * Y70-1. Rename to North Sea CTA-1
    * L602, N562, Y70, Y96, Y968. Now RNAV routes (move to ENR 3.3)
    * P16/P17/P18/Y70/Y250. Rename, was P18/M150/Y99 (B)

  Obstacles:
    This part of the airspace file has not been reviewed for some time.  The
    relevant section of the AIP consists of a spreadsheet with over 7,100 entries
    as at April 2017.  Most (5,945) are wind-powered generators and of the 1,164
    remaining 271 are offshore.  To provide a balance between cluttering up
    the file with clearly visible and low-level obstacles the following filtering
    has been applied.
    	* All offshore obstacles excluded.
    	* All wind-powered generators excluded.
    	* Obstacles in Northern Ireland, Central London and Manchester excluded.
    	* Obstacles with tops < 600' above surface excluded.
    	* Only highest of a cluster of obstacles shown.
    	* Forth bridges excluded
    This reduces number of obstacles in the airspace file to 58. (April '17), 
    prior to this review there were 24 obstacles listed.

    The titles of the obstacles are the NATS reference numbers in the form
    "UK0171O101F", hopefully more meaningful names will be available from NATS shortly.
    Obstacles where height unknown assumed to be 499' high.

02 May 2017 Changes effective 27 April 2017

    * Chipping LoA. Update coordinates of L612/N57 with values from ENR 3.1.
      Also update the LoA coordinates to match.
    * Camphill LoA. Update coordinates of N601 to match change to LOA made
      last month.

      removed Harwell.

21 March 2017 Changes effective 30 March 2017

    * Solent Collaberative Airspace trial ended October 16 so removed.
    * Hullavington - gliding site removed.
    * Cae Mawr Tyddyn Hen, Caernarfon.  Microlight site added.
    * Netherthorpe altitude changed.
    * Minor tweak to Southend ILS feathers.
    * Portsmouth CTAs 6, 17 & 18 have published base of FL55 but are ALT5500
      during daylight hours when SOLENT CTA active. File changed to ALT5500
      since this reflects reality for gliding.
    * Camphill LOA - minor corrections to 2 coordinates to match AIP definitions. 
    * Worthing CTA-7 added by request to include BGA TP Selsey Bill. Portion
      of L151/N859 with same coordinates starting at FL75 removed.
       
    * Note
  		Portion of L620 base FL55 east of Solent CTA, encompassing Glidden & Colemore
  		Common, on 1/2 mill chart Mar 2017 has a base of 5500 Alt during daylight hours
  		(per chart note 32) so is within the LTMA.  On 27th April it is expected 
  		to be removed.

02 March 2017
  Data
    * Portsmouth CTA 3 to 13, 15 & 16 added. They replaced airways:
  		N514-1, N514-3, N514-4, L620-3, L620/Q41, L620-4, Q41-1,
  		Q41-2, Q41-3, Q41-4 and Q41-5.  Some altitudes now flight 
  		levels.  Effective late April but will be on half million
  		Southern England charts dated 2nd March 2017.

    * ASSelect Program V 3.0 has been recompiled using EmbarcaderoŽ Delphi 10.1 Berlin 
      Version 24.0.24468.8770 with minor changes to the text on the Welcome form.  This Delphi 
      creates a larger executable. 2.3 MB vs 514 kB.

    * Scottish TMA designations changed.
    * Scampton frequency changed.
    * Culdrose ATZ increased to 2.5 nm radius - effective 2nd Mar '17

  *Geoff Brown who has been doing such an excellent job in making airspace files available to us
 	for some time, having taken the task on when Peter Desmond and Rory O'Connor finished their 
 	stints, has retired from gliding since there is not a club near his new home.  He has, 
 	however, left us a good legacy and persuaded me to take it on for a while.  However, I do 
 	not see it as a long term solution; we really need a volunteer the right side of 70!  Many 
 	thanks to Geoff for all his hard work.

  Program -
    * OpenAir mapping can now be user defined.  The first time OpenAir is selected as
      an output the program uses the default mapping and then dumps that to a file.
      On subsequent runs that file is read. The user can modify the file to whatever
      they want. If the file is corrupted the default mapping is used.

  Data - AIP BARROW / WALNEY ISLAND ATZ tweaked
Prog - 
    * OpenAir output option added.  This uses an inbuilt mapping for TNP
TYPE and CLASS to OpenAir AC.  In the future I hope this will use
a user provided mapping file.  I don't use OpenAir, so I need users
to let me know if the current mapping can be improved.
    * The option to raise all Class G ATZs to Class D added (only pertinent
to the full TNP output format).

09 Feb 2014:  06 March 2014 Release
    Manchester LoA, L975 and LEEDS crossing areas withdrawn. Area
    Camphill BU sub-divided into height band breaks at FL120 & FL150
    Agreement now with Prestwick (Local knowledge)
    Correction to TRURO
    AIP ENR 2.2 Halton corrected (to what was originally in this file)
    Regrouping of military and civilian gliding clubs
    The 'no comments' output option has been modified to be more suitable for 'Glide Navigator II' users
