EasyGPS® - from TopoGrafix® - is a commercially-based freeware program that provides mechansims to create, edit, and transfer waypoints and routes between your computer and your Garmin®, Magellan®, or Lowrance® GPS.   It provides access to street and topo maps, aerial photos, weather forecasts, and nearby attractions. The EasyGPS is part of the TopoGrafix family of outdoor products, and should work with their PanTerra® and ExpertGPS® products as well.   The location format [loc] files put the ancillary information in the "description" field. Suggestions on the use of the "waypoint" and "comment" field for different GPS displays are encouraged.
