Airspace for North America
Special features for soaring:
All airspace:
These files include most airspace in the handbook including low level E
airspace associated with Airways, Transition Areas, Control Area Extensions,
Terminal Control Areas and others.
RECOMMENDED FOR MOST PILOTS – No low E:
These files have most low E airspace removed but leave Class E Control Zones
and Transponder Mandatory airspace.
No low E and No Transponder:
These files remove most low E airspace and Transponder airspace but leave
Class E Control Zones intact.
No low E, No Transponder and No High:
These files remove most low E airspace, Transponder and High airspace but
leave Class E Control Zones intact. It is recommended you use the "clip"
feature in your software and use one of the previous airspaces so you still
have warnings if you unexpectedly get close to airspace at 12,500 ft and
above. If you can not do that, use these files.
