How Many Medals for X Contestants?


Rule 7.2 specifies the number of medals that shall be presented at a Nationals, depending upon the number of competitors, and the table below presents that number in italics following the number of contentants in bold.   For example, if there were 27 competitors, there would be five total medals ( one gold, one silver, and three bronze ) and if there were 47 contestants there would be 9 total medals ( one gold, one silver, and seven bronze ).
